man, hearing of the ramen noodles inventor passing away sure brings back some memories. do i hear buschman noodles???? after a long party night at my mom's, we used to make em, busch beer and ramen noodles. no water, just used the first thing at hand, and hey! whaddya know, it's 7am and i've got a beer in my hand! pour some beer in the pan, maybe a little vodka, some noodles and heat and you've got sustinance! round about those times were when we would have food fights too. not the hey i'm gonna whip this french fry at your melon kinda thing.. oh no. we were organized. we'd split into teams, have time to prep our concoctions, like mixing swiss miss(with marshmellows) with cheeze puffs. we'd set a time limit and come out fightin. it wasn't a complete melee though, it was convert like spy vs spy. ah, those days.. |
